It's time to update the pendant gallery so I thought I'd put them to use and offer the samples to you! Here are the details:

The first six orders placed at Bows2Cute on Monday, December 13 will qualify to receive a free pendant. I am working on updating some pages so that there are more visuals available for the products. I started with the crochet headbands. They are now separated into categories by flowers, and each flower color is displayed with a headband. As always, there is still an option to choose a different color of headband if what is displayed is not what you need!

Also, I took away the thumbnail pictures of those products so that they are all viewable on the same page to be added to the cart. When you click on the product picture, a slightly larger pop up window will pop up to view the product closer!

Hopefully most of it is finished!! The only good news for being out of school for so long has been that I've had a chance to catch up on some to-do list items! I picked up a new show in June so would like to get a few pillowcase dresses, etc. added so will be working on that as much as I can.

Shipping Update

Oops! I first want to apologize because I posted this message a few days ago and just realized I did it on my personal blog! Due to a huge craft show last weekend, orders will be processed and sent out as soon as possible. Sorry for any delays. Normal shipping times should resume within the next week as I get caught up. This show was my first outside show and it was great! I have one more next month and then I'll be back to my normal schedule.

The kufi hats sold like hot cakes as did the ribbon headbands. I should have some more colors available in the infant kufi's within the next few weeks. It was great to display the hats because some people took them right off the display so we had to put more up, and it was nice seeing the different combinations between the hats and the flower. I will try to get some more samples of different combinations up for those of you who need those visuals like I do :)

Here was my live model-my niece-who was there both days to help! It's from my cell camera. She has on a gray kufi with a black flower from ClipTrendz.

Corn Festival

The Corn Festival is almost here and I am trying not to stress out about it! I still have items I'm trying to get ready to take with me Thursday afternoon, so I am trying to balance orders and shows as well as I can.

Just wanted to note that although it is not advertised, the Festival opens at 6pm on Thursday and is a free preview night for the public. They encourage the booths to be set up and ready to go, so most should be up and ready if you want to save a few bucks and come early!

Meet Kopelyn

Kopelyn is almost 4 weeks old! You'll see a lot of her on the new site in the newborn section. On most of these I was having some fun in photoshop trying new things...mainly because I was hoping those would look better than the originals I took!

I knew Kopelyn was getting baptised soon so I made this custom bow band for her in case she wanted to wear it. It's a sheer layered pinwheel on a lace stretch headband.

I was getting ready to send in some products to a rather large magazine (details to follow!) and I always hate deciding what to send in. Many things look much better on than just by themselves in a picture. I decided to come up with a set-matching headbands for the busy mom on the go and for the little one. The reversible fabric headbands are from Cliptrendz. The matching headband is a stretch headband (applique headband now on the site) that I made to match the fabric headband. I made the red and black set today for another good cause that I will be blogging about within the next week!

Yeah, I was a little off on the time it took me to finally get them done :) Here they are and I'm super excited about the new headband design too! This was just a quick PJ shot last night, but these are really comfortable! I had this one on for awhile last night and forgot the button was on there!

Bows2Cute will soon be getting a face lift! I have made the decision to revamp [again] and to run the website on my own. I am in the process of switching hosts so that I am able to do this. I also thought I would switch up the theme and start from scratch. Insane? Yes, but I hope it is a smooth transition. Product wise, everything will be similar, but this will allow me to control more of what goes online and be able to make changes more quickly. There will be a few new applications I will be able to use as well, so I look forward [not really] to figuring it all out :)

It will be awhile before I switch it over I think, but am just giving a heads up so that when you go to the site and it looks completely different, you'll know why!

Although it's hard to see little products in these pictures, ClipTrendz supplied 100 pony-o buttons in some fun summer/retro prints for Disney star Brittany Curran's Birthday Bash. This was a last minute opportunity so the products had to be mailed the next day!

Orders are slowly coming along and I again apologize for the longer delays! I didn't think it would take this long to get things put away. I'm trying to get the old house cleaned out (don't you just hate all of that "little stuff?") and get ready for a garage sale to get rid of the "junk" that I don't want to bring to the new house.

My studio is almost complete so I can't wait to be organized again! The poor guys who delivered the huge sheets of dry wall today did a great job, but I felt bad that I paid to have them take it downstairs...it was well worth it though ;)

Anyway, I'm slowing starting to become addicted to my sewing/embroidery machine.

Here are a few things I've done recently for a baby shower gift.
Crate cover embroidered with name...served as the gift basket

Inside was a zebra print burp cloth with pink terry cloth backing with "Diva" embroidered on front

Also inside were 2 gowns, and of course...bows!

I made this for my niece's birthday party-loved the print on it. Something different from pink!

And a few things for Brynnley-she was sleepy in this first pic, but I did the dress

And then I appliqued her top to go with her pants

So, we are officially moved now! Well, that may be a little white lie since my craft stuff is not completely moved, but it is a work in progress! I'm trying to organize what I'll need within the next 2 weeks and what I can store elsewhere in hopes that I won't need it because my bow room is ready for dry wall so I'm hoping to get it ready to move in within the next few weeks. In the meantime, I am setting up shop in our bedroom and should be able to stay caught up! Only ONE MORE DAY of school for me, so I can maybe get orders done during the day and go to bed at a decent time :)

ClipTrendz has been busy this week to provide more swag bags for Disney/Nick star Brittany Curran's 50's style pool party for her 19th birthday! Brittany stars on the hit TV shows Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Suite Life on Deck, and the newly released film, Legally Blondes. We decided on the pony's because they are very simple to wear and great for the beach! We sent 100 out, so this is just a small sample!

(At 2am I didn't have a lot of time to not get any glare from the bags!)

Moving Update

Things are hectic around here right now! Still haven't packed a box yet-plan on doing that Thursday because I'll be at the new house all day Friday. Friday is when we are getting the cable/internet switched over. I am going to be taking a short break while I get my supplies transferred. I'll be camping out in the dining room for a few weeks until my craft room is complete, so I will try to get as organized as I can as quickly as I can! Right now I think I'm spinning in 2,000 directions so I just have to think 9 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL :) So, again, I apologize for slower processing times lately, but I have to keep my sanity in check too :)

Just to a new house across town that is!

So, although I have not packed up one box yet and am supposed to get the keys in 3 days, I have been busy and will be even busier next week trying to move some things over. I am working as fast as I can to get orders out in a timely manner, but please understand that they may be held a few extra days while I reorganize!

We are going to be building my new craft room so I am hoping that goes as fast as I want it to (by next Thursday!!) so that I can move my room over smoothly! I'm just trying not to think about all of the work ahead of me, but am going to try my best to get caught up by this weekend so that there will not be a long delay.

I took these pictures today of this cute little model wearing some new stuff!

Pretty Petals Snappie-comes in a variety of colors and will be online soon.

Cute and funky marabou puff headband! This is the zebra elastic headband and the puff is on a snappie so is removable. I will have a few puff color selections coming in this week.

Here's the infant kufi! It fits from about 1-2 months on up to about 6 months. The bow is a new twisted bow I made similar to the spike pinwheel's. Lauren is 5 months old to give you an idea of the size for her.

And here's the onesie she is wearing! Too cute! I embroidered her initial on the front and I have a few in stock from 0-3 on up to 18-24 months.

They are so easy to slide in, are adjustable, and just too cute! These come in the following colors: Turquoise Blue (shown with zebra print center), Wild Berry, Pink, Hot Pink, and Shocking Pink. More colors coming next month!

I am still waiting on one more shipment that will hopefully arrive mid-May, but I got one today and there are now more colors available: Lime, Plum, and sky! I am waiting on hot pink.

I also have new infant kufi's available! They are super adorable! Right now I only have black and white but will be getting more colors in the 2nd shipment.

Just a reminder that the prices are going to be lowered online....my little man turns 2 on Monday, so I sent in a submission that all he wants for his birthday is to see updates on the site :)

I just love these headbands! They are made with super soft and stretchy elastic or lace. The white and hot pink colors have silver sparkles on top. The light pink is a plain elastic and the black is lace. All are super soft for any age! These come in sizes newborn (strawberry and crown picture), infant (butterfly) and toddler/adult (sequin flower).

Here is the toddler/adult size that fits my 2 year old son (whose head is actually bigger than Brynn's!) and me! Here is Brynn wearing it and then myself!
